See system health, AI usage, and agent status in the notch, the menu bar, or a draggable Floating Gauge.
Pro is a one-time licence entitlement (not a subscription). Try Pro locally for 5 days / 120 hours. Cardless, no checkout. The public notarized download is a zip containing VoidNotch.app. Download, extract it, move the app to Applications, then open it. Safari usually extracts it automatically.
Hover or tap the notch. Try it. It's the same widget that lives on your Mac.
Live agent status, permission prompts, token counts. No idea what your machine is actually doing.
Both. In the same strip of black glass you already have.
CPU, RAM, temps, battery. Blind to the AI burning through your quota.
CPU, memory, disk, network, battery and health sit next to live token usage from every AI provider you run. Nothing else does both.
Agent started, finished, needs your input, hit a quota wall. The notch expands, changes colour, and plays a custom voice alert. You can look away from the terminal.
MacBook with a notch? Live in the notch. iMac or external display? It drops into the menu bar. Or detach a draggable Floating Gauge and place it anywhere on screen. Auto-detected, switchable live.
Notch compact layout: pick what sits on each side, and how wide.
Three appearances for the Floating Gauge: Seven Segment, Rings, Glass.
Live metrics on a strip you can park anywhere.
Pro: the notch asks, you pick. Waiting for a deployment decision.
A standalone gauge that floats above your work. Place it anywhere on screen. Pick one of four sizes and three appearances.

Usage and session figures displayed in the app are read from local CLI and session data on your Mac. There is no VoidNotch telemetry and no VoidNotch analytics backend for product usage.
Polar is contacted for licence activation, validation, and deactivation. Provider or runtime components you already use may make their own network requests independently of VoidNotch.
One-time perpetual licence for up to 3 Macs. Tax is calculated by Polar at checkout. Voluntary 14-day refund. Try Pro locally for 5 days / 120 hours without a card.
Free to download and use. The MIT licence covers the code published at tag v0.6.0 only, and that grant is irrevocable for that code. Later versions are proprietary.
Purchase is a licence entitlement. The same notarized app download covers Free and Pro; a licence key unlocks Pro. Checkout is hosted by Polar (Merchant of Record).
Prices shown before location-dependent tax. Polar calculates tax at checkout. Voluntary 14-day refund; Polar may separately issue refunds under its buyer terms or chargeback-prevention rights.
Licence keys arrive via Polar receipt email and the Polar customer portal, not on this page after checkout return.
Yes. The current public download is VoidNotch v0.12.3 and it is Apple-notarized. The download is a zip containing VoidNotch.app. Download it, extract it, move the app to Applications, then open it. Safari usually extracts it automatically. No Gatekeeper right-click bypass, and no Xcode required. The MIT licence covers the code published at tag v0.6.0 only.
The app can unlock Pro features locally for 5 days (120 hours) without a card or Polar checkout. When the trial ends, Pro features lock until you activate a purchased licence key.
The public download is arm64 for Apple Silicon only. Intel Macs can run VoidNotch when you build the code published at tag v0.6.0, which is covered by MIT. Later versions are proprietary. The HUD moves to the menu bar when there is no notch, but temperature readings are unavailable because the thermal sensors are read through Apple Silicon's IOHID sensors and the Intel SMC path is not implemented. macOS 14 or later.
Ordinary use does not need Xcode. Download the notarized zip, extract it, move VoidNotch.app to Applications, then open it. Safari usually extracts it automatically. Xcode is only needed if you build the code published at tag v0.6.0, which is covered by MIT. Later versions are proprietary.
