0.12.3 2026-09-24
Codex quotas are back, and the floating gauge moves on macOS 27
- Updated the Codex usage source to restore usage and weekly quota readings. An unavailable five-hour quota is no longer shown as 0%.
- Fixed Floating Gauge dragging on macOS 27 while retaining position lock and click-through options.
- 0.12.3 is available as an Apple-notarized macOS arm64 download. Existing users can also upgrade through the in-app updater.

Dashboard roster matches the gauge, All Providers is a single list
- Agent Activity on the Dashboard now follows the same roster as the floating gauge
- All Providers is a single-line list instead of three columns
- Local now shows session tokens
- Opening the Dashboard no longer flashes a scrollbar
- Agy quota is back on auto
0.11.1 2026-08-21
Settings stay dark, and you can always find them again
- The settings window is locked to dark appearance and no longer follows system light mode
- If you uncheck every notch display item and close settings, a gear stays in the notch so you can reopen it
- The floating gauge's context menu can also open settings
- Scheduled lists are searchable, use larger type, and archived jobs can be moved to Trash
- Grok question cards in the notch can be answered; pi option matching is more reliable
- The floating gauge no longer drifts downward when the agent roster grows
0.11.0 2026-08-16
See every provider's usage at once, and size the panel yourself
- Providers gains an All Providers overview — three columns covering every provider you have enabled
- Free-text answers (Pro): reply to an agent's question by typing straight into the notch, without switching back to the terminal
- Panel width is now adjustable, with sliders for column width and row spacing
- Scheduled entries can be renamed and linked to Reminders, and a permanent button legend replaces hover-only tooltips
- Added oMLX as a local model provider
- Terminal windows can be kept on top
- Fixed the Resets column being truncated in narrow windows
- GitHub Copilot is temporarily removed — its usage could not actually be read
0.10.0 2026-07-27
Usage no longer blanks out when a provider hiccups, plus a contribution calendar and cost trend
- When a provider changes its format, the network drops, or credentials expire, the notch keeps the last known good numbers and labels their age (for example "12m ago") instead of showing a line of error text
- New contribution calendar and cost trend charts, switchable between 30 and 90 days
- Settings gains a per-provider daily usage view with summary, heatmap, trend and a day-by-day breakdown
- The floating gauge and menu bar summary now subscribe only to the data they display, and temperature readings are cached — panels and charts are noticeably smoother and lighter on battery
- Software Update is now its own Settings tab
0.9.0 2026-07-24
One-click updates inside the app
- The update banner now has an Install now button — download, verification and install happen in one step
- Every download is checked against its Apple signature and file hash before anything is installed
- Fixes for provider format changes now reach machines that already have VoidNotch installed, with no reinstall
VoidNotch checks for updates on its own. You can also download the latest build from the home page.
